An absolute gem of a property, a perfect get away to visit Lymington, the surrounding coastline or to further explore the huge variety the New Forest has to offer. The Lodge is approx. a 20 min walk into the Town, and has direct access onto paths leading to The Solent Way.
The historic town of Lymington offers plenty for the visitor to the New Forest. This colourful coastal town is an ancient seaport with a rich maritime history. It is situated along the southern tip of the New forest and on the edge of the Solent, Lymington is a major yachting centre with three marinas. Much of the architecture you see today in Lymington is Georgian and Victorian. The High Street, which looks predominantly Georgian, is in fact made up of an eclectic mix of Georgian, Victorian, Art Deco with some traces of Medieval architecture.
There are many places within 15-20 min drive from the Lodge, Christchurch, Brockenhurst, Beaulieu and slightly further to the East and West are Southampton and Bournemouth respectively.
